Going plant-based or vegan is easy, right?
On the surface, it may seem simple to just quit eating meat and dairy. But when you begin the process, or start to delve deeper into the plant-based world, you can often find yourself confused, baffled or questioning your decision.
I’ll admit it: it’s not as straightforward as we first imagine. We have to think about nutritional, culinary, even cosmetic and fashion-based replacements — depending on how far we want to take it. The more we learn, the more we realize how much more there is to learn and how we have only touched the tip of the iceberg when we first decide to ditch meat.
The good news is that there are a thousand positive steps you can take before declaring yourself a certified, badge-wearing vegan!
