With Australia was devastated by bushfires and then cruelly-ironic floods, the Black Lives Matter movement fighting racial discrimination and, of course, a microscopic organism showing the human race exactly how fragile it is, 2020 was both unprecedented and tragic.
But through it all - perhaps despite it all - there have also been some incredible stories of positivity, not least in the realm of veganism.
