There are many more important issues regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but whether we catch it or not, weight gain from lock-downs, closed gyms and limited opportunity for exercise is affecting many of us.
It may seem superficial as this tragedy continues to unfold, but weight gain can lead to poor health, heart issues and even mental illness, such as depression and anxiety.Weight, and a focus on a healthy diet was hard enough in 'normal' life (remember that?). With the added stress and limitations imposed by COVID-19, it's almost impossible to keep the scales on the right side of our weight goals.
