@ThatsItFruit - I have tried the vegan jerky (not the best), far too many granola bars, and probably grew up on fruit roll ups as a kid. I do have to say I was skeptical about the fruit bars that a company called That’s it (http://www.thatsitfruit.com/) is touting. But the adventurer in me ordered a sample box. It arrived in speedy fashion although it was a box within a box, and I just don’t understand why we cant stick the shipping label on the first box, but that is a different blog post.
I love dried apricots so I chose that bar first, and I thought it was delicious. The ingredients say 1 apple and 3 apricots, and the bar is only 100 calories. TWO INGREDIENTS, That’s IT!
So I’m not quite sure how they mash and dry the fruit so it is in the softer bar format with out some binding agents and something, its magic, The bars I’ve tried are great! Love the apricot ones the best, the apple and pear are good, and I still enjoyed the cherry one as well, but thought it was much sweeter than the other two.
Overall I’d encourage all my friends and family to ask their grocery store to stock them, and buy a sample pack on their website. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, and it is a great alternative to candy or granola bars, low in calories, good for you, and good for the environment.
I wish the team at That’s it, much success!
